Unify & simplify order operations
In the branding phase of the WorkMate project, I took on the task of shaping the app's identity to resonate with its core values and functionalities. Beginning with the logotype, I aimed to encapsulate the essence of reliability and efficiency, selecting a design that would serve as a visual representation of WorkMate as a dependable companion in work order management. The typography was chosen to complement this, ensuring clarity and readability while maintaining a modern and professional aesthetic.
The chosen brand colors evoke a sense of trust, competence, and approachability, aligning seamlessly with the app's mission to simplify and enhance work order processes. This harmonious blend of colors contributes to a visually cohesive and appealing interface.
My Contributions
As a Lead Designer, I was the main contributor thorough the Design Phase of this project.
From naming, where I conceptualized and conducted a collaborative session with the team to brand identity, developing a visual language including the logo, color palette, and typography.
I created user flows, mapping out seamless paths for users, ensuring a logical progression through the app's features. My next steps involved a deep focus on user experience, crafting an experience that prioritized simplicity and functionality. The app ensures a user-friendly interface, minimizing the learning curve for merchants, who often have to train large teams. Ongoing support and enhancements include usability testing, to guarantee the app's effectiveness, I conduct thorough usability testing, gather feedback and make iterative improvements based on user insights.
